CBAM reporting and embedded carbon emissions

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) places a carbon price on embedded emissions in specified goods imported into the European Union. It currently covers cement, iron and steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen. ESAFE supports Albanian producers and exporters with product-scope assessment, data collection, emissions calculations and the preparation of information requested by EU customers and importers.
